Kl Aiyah (as they say in the local lingo) Why stay in Kuala Lumpur?? 2 and a half hours by car, and you are in Malacca (one of my favourite spots in Malaysia)... from there, another 3 hours, you are in safe (for babies ha!) Singapore as it sounds like what you are worried about...
