I think definately nurture too. Parents play a huge role but there're other factors that create the person too, like how they get on with others (social skills), the different experiences and the persons perception of them, the perceptions they create of themselves, what they're exposed to...

I read somewhere and quoted 'locked up 23 hours a day' but could be wrong - this could have been the arrangement last week or last year. Different units in prisons have different levels of 'high' security and prisoners can at times still mix with others and have exercise equipment available...

That was my first thought. Makes me happy to be paying my own school fees :p.

It probably wouldn't have been too hard finding some dimwit thug in prison happy to do this deed for someone, even in front of a camera (I too read high security and in seclusion 23 hours a day). The most concerning thing however is how the heck this guy managed to get the Police Dept. to pay...
