ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Agree, but even the power that Shorten has/had was because he towed the union party line which evolved from way back to the stand he established as a union heavy many years ago. That also can be pulled at any time if he doesn't continue to play the cards right - I know you already knew...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Rudd will have to get it right every step of the way. He's not new blood and people got their BS meter up and running while he was still PM the last time. Don't forget the polls dropped significantly before he was outed. Flowery speeches (about being the right guy who's come to save us)...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

11 out of 13 is very high. Husband also did school coaching one year and had to pressure a parent to team manage. There was no interest at all. Most of these families were heavily reliant of welfare so i figured they couldn't have valued education if they didn't value work. I can't recall that...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Absolutely. It was more power for Rudd. The AWU wouldn't have liked him not playing the puppet at all - not how things work in the ALP. Like with everything else Rudd misjudged.

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Both Rudd and Gillard have demonstrated the main criteria for picking the cabinet was done purely to promote personal support, something that is not generally tolerated within many other organizations or parties. Rudds conceded it was a bad move (although ok when he was PM) and so do others...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Read the paragraph after that one and will point out that Caucus appointing MP's may be traditional but not how it works now. Rudd changed it so all the power is now with the PM (and I assume with a Labor Leader of the Opposition) only. I don't think the change worked in their favour...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

I was wondering about that. Not saying he didn't walk into a door but lots of rumours going around about a few unusal personal and not so personal things (where there is proof) involving Labor atm and the media aren't going there - including News Limited. Very strange days.

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

I think the tie thing is very amusing. For those that haven't noticed most Rudd supporters and many Libs are wearing blue ties. Rudd wearing very 'in your face' blue ties. Gillard supporters wearing coloured ties, though in the last couple of days some have resorted to no ties at all...

Your right. I reckon Abbott and party can hardly believe their luck.

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

I'm sure some of the ALP would have it at the back of their minds that if Rudd did take over, that 50/50 2 pp polling that is showing now would only be temporary and instead could slip right back after a few weeks of resignations, undermining by the Gillard camp and reminders by the coalition of...

What the lady in the pie shop thinks :D.

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

I don't think anyone but Shorten himself and the unions rate him highly.

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Agree Shorten will probably be PM at some stage. That would be the wish of the unions. The 'tip offs' had been that Rudd would take on the position in the next 2 weeks and it now looks like it may be given the green light. In The Australian this morning it states that the AWU is not going...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Shorten a faceless man with a face can't be seen to be knifing a second time or going against his fellow not so faceless men who are still behind Gillard (if he wants to be PM), a faceless man is being pushed into a safe seat (that says something about their thinking), and Rudd won't contest...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

Absolutely. The revenge would be really sweet for him now. With all that has happened, and it being the end of Labor's reign for some time, I think he'll be happy going out as the one the people voted in and loved (in his mind), rather than taking on the role of PM and being in opposition...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

That interview was embarrassing. He had the PM there and could have asked any of a zillion great questions and he came out with that . What a goose.

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

A better comparison would have been the very public and highly offensive jokes made of female Peta Credlin at a Labor union dinner. Swan and other Labor members should have walked out but didn't. Gillard gave that little of her oxygen. Gillard's first impression when she stumbled across that...

ALP Doomed but how many seats will they get?

There are many hundreds of documents, around a 100 witness statements and a fraud squad who are dedicating a hell of a lot of time to this case. What you say is correct, but I think they are fairly confident they have what it takes to eventually find her guilty. It will be less of a he said...
