To be outboganed in the Senate in the near future by this guy... :o http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Howes This is one of the reasons why the Labor Party is alienating the average, non manufacturing, inspirational working class Labor person.

I think they all do, but not 100% sure.

Ideo, these are refugees that have been over 5 years. Many can speak English. Many live within 5 Km from me in inner Adelaide. They can work if they wanted to doing as previous refugees and migrants have done. As you pointed out the vast majority of migrants are very hard working, but not all...

Agree Aaron. The Vietnamese worked very hard when they first came out. Their children work hard now. I know they flooded the small farming communities around Adelaide in the mid to late 70's (had their young children working on the farms too - before, after school and w/e) and now many own...

Just got another call from a pollster - that's 2 in less than a week. This time it was a real person who claimed he was independent, but didn't proceed with questioning me as he already had the quota from my age group.

No, you misunderstood. It was a yes if most people agreed Abbott was a joke. In NSW Rudd and Labor are very much on the nose so it's them copping it.

I've noticed this very recently, even the ABC Insiders yesterday mentioned the 70B was incorrect - didn't make much of a point of it though- whereas they have been letting it go. They would have been like a dog with a bone had it been Abbott telling a major furphy like that one. For a long...

Merely complaining doesn't make it fact for who? Surely not for the right only. The biggest complainer and stretcher of the truth atm is Rudd (that's all he has left to defend his position ;)) and his followers are now parrotting him - why we are having this conversation... yes? And that...

Hardly. If Liberals had the same track record to attract that kind of reporting I would cringe and think it was reflective of peoples sentiment. I certainly would not be squealing. In fact i would be emailing MP's asking for Abbotts removal! So how often do you hear the right complain...

If it's only Kate's they're defacing then it probably isn't more of the same. When you regularly hear people making half serious jokes about Labor incompetence in public you know the anti Labor sentiment around you is significant. Not a peep from Labor supporters around me.

Kate Ellis initially had posters up on close to every second mainstreet pole in some places - total overkill in trying to outdo everyone else - but many have disappeared. Limits on how many can be put up and where perhaps? If they were torn down i'm sure they'd be back up in a flash, but...

Labor must feel they're at real risk of losing Adelaide. Exactly 2 weeks before election day. http://www.alp.org.au/cm17_240813

oOo, no the second 2 links confirm how it is. I popped that news article in as an example of reporting of the facts by non News Limited sources for all to make of it what they wished . Anyway some facts submitted to the 2012 Finkelstein Report. So if people seek one of a few...

Could this call be related to the automated polling call I got on Thursday? Identify all those not voting for you, then ring them back and attempt to sway them??

Last minute panic? Just got a call from a polite young woman asking me if I had any concerns at the local level that she could pass on to Kate Ellis.

Agree. It's those that get their info from memes, and think all Liberal voters are low info voters like themselves who only read headlines are the concern :o. By the way could those that think Murdoch owns 65% of papers please show a link proving this to be the case ;). Rudd saying so...

I got my first automated polling call yesterday. Anyone else here who lives in a marginal seat had one? Got asked a few different Q ie. on asylum seekers, economy, etc. as well as the usual, like who will you vote for, and is there any chance you may change your mind before the election...

But isn't that part of the old chaotic Kevin, and him being negative - what appears to be a continuation of what Gillard was doing? It's not really new behaviour. Why I said people are starting to remember.
