    First World probs

We are in Japan on uber cool trip and so far our small first world issues have been "I don't like the heated toilet seat" DD5 "I don't like the automatic toilet flushing" DD5 "I keep sliding down my business class seat when I'm sleeping because it's angled lie flat not horizontal lie flat"...

    First World probs

1.5hrs on the way over and 3hrs on the way back. The price is awesome. It was a juggle of dates to try and get the best deal with only one stop and not exceed 14hr travel/transit. Next best price was more than $1000 more x 5.

Thanks BV. You're right it's generally the world of sooks which take the time to right reviews too. Everyone that is happy tends to write nothing unless it was outstanding service. My favourite hotel chain receives terribly mixed reviews but I always have a great time as I go for different...

    First World probs

Still suffering analysis paralysis over picking flights to Japan. Driving myself silly because I've been reviewing this seat pitch vs that seat pitch blah blah Life was simpler when there was just Qantas and no google. Of course it was a lot more expensive then. I do think I have found a...

Yes - little use for me in Perth but I have Q Lounge access so Australian lounge access is all good. It will come in handy if I fly OS outside of the Q network

It depends who's platinum it is. Westpac renamed their Gold cards Platinum not so long ago and it had some perks like extended warranties and probably concierge but I never used it. Def no airport lounge passes with their Platinum though.

    First World probs

#firstworld problem news I came home from work to find a letter from Westpac with 2 Altitude Blacks (Mcard and Amex) in there. I currently have Platinum. A nice letter said "we'd like to offer you this upgrade to Black at no additional cost from your current card annual fee" Woohoo. I'm...

    First World probs

And there are only 2 lounges in Australia you can use Priority Pass with and Perth isn't one of them. I think I have solved my dilemma - Garuda business class on the way there, Air Asia Premium on the way home. I get to try out 2 new (to me) airlines and see what they are like. By some...

    First World probs

BTW we use covermore and get annual insurance coverage. Now that we have discovered travelling it's cheaper for us to get annual coverage than seperate trip coverage - it also covers me when I do my interstate trips too.

I could go get one of those I suppose but I bet it doesn't allow a husband and 3 kids in on it and QClub kindly do. I shall investigate - thanks for the heads up.

    First World probs

My first world problem for the past few weeks: If I book AirAsia business class to Japan I can't go to the Qantas Club and Air Asia don't have a lounge. Solution would be to fly Jetstar or Qantas but I'm too stingy. This dilemma has been troubling me for weeks and I need to book the...

    First World probs

First world problems a la Westminster - trying not to sound like a douchebag when someone finds out I like to develop. Generally I try and keep quiet about it unless I find a kindred spirit then watch out :) - prawns with tails (annoys me too!) - having to peel any prawn - having a job when...
