What profit would you like them to make? According to this, they have made a 19% return on equity and a 1% return on assets. I know I'd like more than 1% ROA!- wobbycarly

Can you see banks raising interest rates?
I reckon ANZ had to do something this month, with the RBA holding. If they didn't, then their recent 'campaign' to show they are "splitting up with the RBA" (my words, and I don't work in advertising :D) would have been seen to all talk and no action. This action shows they are willing to walk...- wobbycarly
