Homes officially out of reach for under 35's

Some people don't mind being stuck in the same sleepy city. I'd be guessing that it is quite possible your friends who bought are very happy with the path they have taken, just as you are happy with the path you have taken. Can you tell I'm one that bought early and has been in the same place...

Homes officially out of reach for under 35's

I'm curious about whether or not you have ever had someone in to share the rent, or have you reached nearly 40 and always rented a whole house or unit on your own? I would hate to share with a stranger, but would share with someone I knew in order to save, even for a few years. Or perhaps...

Shower came up to son's chest, so he could have knelt to shower but when we gutted the shower it was so wet and had been leaking so badly that I don't understand why the unit beneath it was...

Homes officially out of reach for under 35's

Couldn't agree more. Son who is buying his second house and will rent his first unit bought at $290, 4km from the city, dump. First home... yes. He used to whine that he could never afford a home, until I showed him it could be done.
