Noticed today I have been charged a $10 offset fee.. even though i'm on the wealth package. This is wrong, right?? I have THREE offset accounts, to the 1 home loan. I pay a $375 (or 395??) fee a year so I thought the offset was free...

I've noticed a 14c "interest correct" charge on my home loan account. Strange.

I moved across to the Everyday Offset a few weeks ago now - and have yet to see the $95 fee appear. I did not ask for a fee waiver so maybe it's automatic for a short period of time?? Either way, i'm very very happy.

Hi Brady thanks - seems you are in SA though? The info seems to be that NSW/VIC/QLD can't do it until 14th. I just spoke to the call centre + 2 branches again this morning - they all said next week.

So that info I posted above DOES seem to indicate that 14th Oct is the earliest date an 'existing' CBA customer can move over to this...

My branch (Mascot, NSW) and call centre person I spoke to INSIST they don't yet have the feature available to them. They insist it will be available from the 12th. And yes, multiple offset accounts for 1 loan makes sense. ONE offset for MULTIPLE loans makes no sense :)

jrc77 - pls post back and let us know how you go - especially seeing you are in Sydney. Someone at the my branch, as well as the call centre, both tell me I need to wait till Saturday (ie more likely Monday 14th).

OK so today i'm told that only the WESTERN states (NT/SA/WA) have the new features. Eastern states won't get it until a 'code drop' this weekend. so another week of waiting.

So has anyone on this forum managed to get one set up yet? :)

Rang back and spoke to someone who seemed to know more. Says that I can visit a branch from TOMROROW (Ie sunday 6th) to have it enabled, OR I can call the call centre on Friday the 11th. Apparently they received an email this morning advising of the 'few day' delay. I'll just visit a...

Rang up today - and was told that it's been delayed until the end of October - seriously???? Must be a mistake.. I guess better I call back on a Tuesday.. or go into a branch.. anyone else?

Yes i'm sure you can have multiple offset accounts for 1 loan but I would think that it NOT be possible to have 1 offset account offsetting more than 1 loan! that would be great for us, not so good for the bank :)

Thx.. so it seems Saturday they can do it ... great! one question - I assume that when the complete access changes to be an offset, it will no longer generate 'credit' interest?
