Sad to see the windows gone, but gives one wall for furniture. Still plenty of light from the other windows and with the kitchen wall removed, the whole area feels much more open even with the windows closed.

I usually just get cheap aluminium venetian blinds from Blinds Warehouse, but I have to replace some blinds on sliding doors and my tenants are asking for vertical blinds. Price-wise they seem OK. But are they are durable as aluminium venetians?
