221D form

Im wondering what the new equivalent of the 221d form is called exactly
I cannot find it on the ATO site

Hiya,

In the text section "Reason for your application", what is the best wording to use..

Under that for codes I put "09E0 - Investment - Real Estate"
Is this correct?

Any other advice in filling out the form would be helpful.

Hi Anthony,

In "Section A - Your details, Part 13 - Reason for your application", I put NEGATIVE GEARING - REAL ESTATE. In "Part 14 - Reason codes", I put 08AO. I didn't have a problem with that. But your option should also work.

It's not listed as the 221d, you will find it under ,,,,Withholding/Variation to income PAYG.
If you go into the tax office near you and ask for the 221d or a withholding form they will give it to you over the counter.
