In the process of abolishing gas and electricity for a development in Albion 3020. (all the sordid details in this thread http://somersoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86383) and getting a little confused and more than a little frustrated.
The tenant had both acccounts with retailer Lumo Energy and the distributor is Powercor.
Called Lumo and they emailed me an application for each service and said for
-electricy an electrician needs to inspect the site and complete the form
-gas a plumber needs to complete the form
Sounded expensive, time consuming and troublesome so I called AGL who say the same thing about the electrician but no plumber is required.
Plan on calling Powercor tomorrow to get their take on this.
Is there a faster and cheaper way to complete all the paper work and get abolishing done?
