Accounting Software for Property Developing

Hi all,
Trust you all had a great Festive Season!!

I have completed dual occs in the past, and am now at a stage where I wish to develop larger sites. All the past project's financials I did manually by hand. I now feel I need to use a software accounting package to bring me up to speed.

Since I am only small fry and probably will not need an Accounting Package worth thousands just yet, can anyone recommend an Accounting Software that would suit my current siutuation?

I recently downloaded GNUCash free which I found quite user friendly, but am curious to know what someone in my position should be using and are there any online free ones or should I invest in something decent from the start?

I use simple excel sheet and keep a record / receipt of all purchases. I have found excel very handy and flexible.
