Acid Sulfate Soils Overlay

Hi Guys I'm just wondering is this a concern when buying in around the Logan area. It seem a lot of the area has this overlay.

So to all the Logan area investors did you buy with this acid sulfate overlay or you avoided like the plague lol:)

Thanks in advance:)

Acid sulphate soils are only an issue when you excavate. When you put in a DA for development and you need to excavate for footings or a slab, Council may require you to submit an acid sulphate report or management plan prepared by a consultant depending on the level of risk. It doesn't really affect an investment it mores affects a development site because it may only potentially be an obstacle when you develop the site.

Thanks my03.

Yes I did Google it a few weeks ago and its just like you said.

My wife works in technical for a concrete company and she said it would require a different mix or class slab for this type of area.

I was just wondering did other investors here or was it a concern for them.
