Adding a second kitchen to a house

What are the rules relating to adding a second kitchen to a house in the Hornsby Shire?

Can anyone direct me to a document which specifies them?

Hello

When it comes to councils, with adding a second kitchen there are a number of ways that you can do it.

1) Add bench without the appliances (put it into council and call it a "wet bar")
which wont need council DA, (but what you do afterwards with appliances nobody but yourself knows about or the "Schultz Principal") but that would be illegal and I wouldnt advise you do that.

2) Apply for a council DA then install the kitchen.

3) Apply for a secondary dwelling under the one roof, (SEPP) 10 day approval, to which you will have to "enclose" the whole area, eg only external entry allowed (The granny flat route), no internal entry allowed.

I Hope this helps
