Advice for starting in Property Development

Hello all

I am a young investor with 2 investment properties in 2 years (Qld). In about 5 years time, I would like to start in development.

I would like to use the time to research and I was hoping someone here could give me some advice on where to start? Are there any good books, websites etc that were helpful to you? Where do I start?

Theres plenty.

Try Ron forlee's books. They are good. Or for the basics try michael yardneys.

Read some of the thread on here, some of them are great with details and pictures (everyone likes pictures). And best thing of all is you know who did the development and could possible hit them up via PM for some more details/questions.

UniSA run a property development unit (can be done externally) which I just completed. It runs for about 13 weeks. As with most uni stuff, its a bit theoretical, but for a beginner I found it pretty useful.

Cant beat the experience/advice on this forum though, people who are actually doing it.
