Advice re building code in ACT

Hi all,

Bit of a specific question. Unfortunately not much luck finding info on the net.

Are there any rules in building code for the ACT re ventilation in bathrooms (e.g. that it must be provided)?

I've just bought a unit and noticed that a bathroom exhaust fan was not in the inclusions list. It's a bit of problem because my bathroom does not have a window and I imagine putting one in myself would be require permission from the body corporate etc. It may also require some routing of the duct to release steam outside??

(I've also put the same question to the real estate to check with the developer but your advice much appreciated) :)

you don't need natural light or ventilation in a bathroom, its not mandatory, but an ixl would be a good thing to put in , i have some one if you need help, ;)
