I bought an off-the-plan property in Western Sydney in Dec 2010; I live in Melbourne. The agent told me construction had been delayed about 6 months due to some missing council approval.
Soon after, the agent was made redundant. I have tried to contact his nominated replacement and she never answers and never returns my calls. I have phoned his former office (MLG Pyrmont) and they promised to have someone return my call...still waiting 4 weeks later.
I phoned MLG Pyrmont again this morning and got a recorded message saying they are currently closed and to call back during business hours (it was during business hours). So I decided to call their Melbourne office to confirm they are still trading - and I got the same recorded message. Now I'm waiting until after 9am WST to call their Perth office.
Has anybody had recent dealings with MLG Realty? Are they still operating? Where do I stand in terms of an eventual settlement if they have closed?
