Agent lists with REView

Hi All,

I've just had an agent list my unit for rent and they have put it on real estate view.

I would have funked that i'd get more response via realestate or domain.

Is the agent doing me a disservice by listing on real estate view?

Has anyone had any listings on real estate view and what were your opinions of this site?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers Spades.

Have they only put it on realestateview?

It is MUCH cheaper to list there, however 96% of my enquiries come through re.com and whilst the cost is far too high (IMO) you need your property on there.

Thanks simtr & Lil_Skater,

Rea is only listing RE View so will have a talk with them tomorrow.

Never heard of the site either until they mentioned it.

Cheers Spades.

I'd go main stream - in Perth that is re.com and the perth REIA website which I suspect is like REview?
Also gumtree too if necessary.
In your contract who pays for advertising?

G'day westminster,

I put the add on gumtree once listed on ReView to gauge more interest.

As for advertising,i pay for it but going by the contract, that's just for the advertising board.

Cheers Spades.

re.com is the way to go. Most agencies list with re.com, domain.com and their own site. It then bounces on from there to other sites.
Changes managers, if the agency can't afford to list on the way over priced but effective sites then it's not worth it, you're missing 98% of potential tenants!
