Agent to represent me at house auction - Brisbane

Hi there,

Can anyone recommend a buyers agent to represent me at a house auction in Brisbane? I can't be there on the day.

I have been quoted $1760 which seems pricey to me for someone to attend for maybe a couple of hours at the most.

Is that a normal price?

Thanks for any feedback.

Typically the agency who has the property for sale will be able to have you on the phone with an agent, all you will need to do is to fill out a bidding authority form for them to bid on your behalf

Hi Pkin

I will just comment on the fees. Typically I find it ranges from $1,000 to $1,500 plus GST to engage a buyer's agent to bid on your behalf. With 50% being an engagement fee and the other 50% charged for a successful purchase.

Cheers

This is very easy to do and there is no cost involved. You can listen to the auction in the background even.
