Agents Representatives Course

From: Nigel Kibel

For anyone in Victoria interested in obtaining the qualification of an "Agents Representative", we have contracted in a professional REIV trainer to train and qualify some of our staff.

Normally, this is a 6 day full-time course, and if you do this course through the REIV, it will cost you $608.40.

We have arranged to have the course done over four days, commencing 2nd week in August. As a courtesy to readers of this forum, anyone interested in attending this training course are welcome, at a price of $400.00 - a saving of over $200.00.

Successful completion of the Agents Representatives course is a legal pre-requisite to enter the real estate industry. The content of the course is:

Real Estate Overview
Introduction to Property Sales Consulting
Sales Documentation
Sales Transactions
Sales Listings
Introduction to Property Management
Tenancy Documentation

Before I get accused once again of spamming this forum, we are not selling anything, and we don't make any money from this. This is simply a courtesy for anyone who wishes to gain this qualification to join our team in the training and save money and time.

If you are interested in joining this REIV accredited training program, please email me no later than Tuesday 31st July to confirm.

Nigel & Others interested,

Please do a little more research on
the price of this course.
Try Box Hill Tafe
Off campus P/T & on Campus Prices.
I think you'll note a major price
discrepancy from what you quoted.

Good Luck

Hi Nigel,

The one who mentioned comparable prices doesnt have a point. In Sydney I made just a couple of tentative inquiries with various courses. I found out each Realty franchise ran their own version of the Fair Trading requirements.

Each type was a different length and covered the basics but additional stuff (that the franchise wanted their staff to know).

Because of this variance, the price range was pretty dramatic.

Because the basic curriculum is created by the government, how much is a government course compared with the one your company has scheduled?

When I was thinking of doing it, I thought to myself, if I paid a little more that the government one and did it with a good franchise I might get some extra handy tips and strategies from the course.

I guess what I'm asking (since I have this opportunity), what is the price of the government course ie Fair Trading (not the REIV) and what extra goodies might be covered in your yours that the government one doesnt?

Regards
Michael

Micheal G & Nigel,

I paid $250.00 for the REIV endorsed
& recommended off campus course at
BoxHill.

This is for the basics I agree,
but I believe if you want to work for
any RE Agent you'll need first hand experience anyway.
Personally, I've just done it for the education & backup for if I need to sell any
of the projects I'm involved in myself.

I wish you both the best.

Juzz
