Amenities

Hi,

Just wondering, how would you rank amenities in terms of investment? I understand different horses for different courses, but it seems the areas where it is SUPER HOT price wise in Melbourne (e.g. Box Hill, Glen Waverley etc) that attracts Chinese investors seem to be business/transport hubs with "premier" schools.

How would you rank (my rankings are in brackets):

* Proximity to CBD (3)
* Primary and Secondary schools - state schools (2)
* Train Station (1)
* Shops / Shopping Centres (4)
* Hospital (6)
* Business Hubs - i.e. corporate centres/access to local jobs. (5)

* Proximity to CBD (3) or satellite CBD (1)
* Primary and Secondary schools - state schools (2) (5)
* Train Station (1) or transport (2)
* Shops / Shopping Centres (4) (4)
* Hospital (6)
* Business Hubs - i.e. corporate centres/access to local jobs. (5) (3)

I guess bussiness hub could mean satellite CBD? Any of the above would depend on one's strategy too. Interesting to think about - horses for courses :)
