Another boom/bust discussion

From: Owen .

Hi,

An English mate sent me this link from one of his share forums (an excellent one too). It is a discussion on the UK property market which is going through the same thing as our markets are, high prices, low interest rates, the herd buying what they call BTL properties (Buy to Let). It's a good discussion. Click the 'next' button to read through.

Owen,

Very interesting article - it's always interesting to read about other markets.

I wonder whether Australia has done a similar projection on housing needs for the next 20 years or so, like the one mentioned int he report.

Does anyone know of such stats?

Cheers, Simon

Popular parts of London have done very well out of the latest boom. I have friends who bought 4 yrs ago and had their place recently revalued for double what they paid for it (unimproved). Doing very nicely too with the rent thankyou.
Cheers, Jacque :)
