Anyone heard National Land Tax, any impact on property investment?

My understanding from what I have heard and read so far is for a national land tax to replace state land taxes.

Under state land tax the family PPOR is exempt and nothing has suggested that it will be taxed under a national scheme. Politically this would be a vote-killer and unlikely ever to be introduced.

Main disadvantage of a national tax would be to investors who have properties in different states to avoid or reduce land tax. And this would affect investors it would be seen politically as "taxing the rich" and therefore more electorally popular.
