are these accountant fees Reasonable ??

Problem with that sanj is that hindsight is 20/20. Of course if you knew, ex-post that one accountant would have given better advice than another, then you would go with the better one even if he charged more. The main question (and problem) is that we all must make decisions ex-ante - and higher fees are not always indicative of better service.

Absolutely but similarly higher fees should not mean we exclude an accountant either. It did take us a number of years and going through a few different accountants to find the one we are with now and then it takes up a while to build up the trust.
 
@BMan - I'd highly reccomend you get a new accountant!! I did my tax myself once and never again. My return is pretty simple but I'm happy to pay $140 to get back a few thousand each year. And it's a tax deduction next year anyway! I'm lucky though being Army, we can claim almost anything. I just visit my accountant with my group certificate and my memory!! And let him do the rest.
