"as is where is" Clause

In QLD what is meant by this clause in mortgagee sale? By way of example if property is left like an old car is this then the new owners responsibility to remove/dispose of?

Ownership

Thank you - Does this mean that all items or chattels are the new owners, post settlement, regardless if chattels were excluded or included?

No.

Things not attached to the land would not be seized by a bank as they are not mortgaged. So if there is a car lying around it would still belong to the registered owner. You wouldn't get title to this or other property that is not land or not attached to the land. But you may be burdened with it.
