Asbestos identification resources

After browsing a few of the threads I noticed a number of people asking about asbestos identification.

I thought it might be a good idea to start this thread with resources that help with the identification of asbestos bearing material.

This website was very thorough:

This website also had some very informative pictures of potential asbestos bearing products:

After having a quick look through I found pictures of lino floors that were the same used in a property we recently purchased. The lino in the kitchen of our new property most probably contains asbestos. We simply put new lino over the top of the existing lino without disturbing the flooring at all.

Something a huge amount of people would be exposed to, and would be great to help educate potential home DIY's of the products that could contain asbestos.
