assessing old house and concrete slab

I'm currently scratching my head

I'm looking at an old miners cottage that has a very old person living in it for absolutely ages

House is original and representative of its age

I've had a look at it and there are no stumps and just a concrete slab throughout

I can't tell if there used to be stumps but my builder contact says it had to have stumps at some stage and they poured concrete in

Surprisingly it seems all quite flat and level

How is this reflected from a resale perspective? And from a building inspection for when it comes down to sell

From a layman's perspective, "didn't you watch last year's home renovation tv?" they pulled out the floor and infilled with sand and concrete.

From a building perspective, what did they do? You will never know. Were there stumps? Are they still there? Are any stumps still doing anything?

More importantly, is there a vapour barrier under the slab? Is the slab damp (test with a moisture meter)? Does the slab cover/bridge the damp course (giving rising damp problems)?
