Some walls one coat, some walls 2 coats, brush marks everywhere - I went right off. One wall even had a touch up with a different colour.

Yes all was ok in the end. But even blind freddy could see the single coat walls.

remind me about this - I have a friend that just had his house painted and loved his painter. This was Dianella though but hopefully he will travel.
