Currently a member and have been for past four years. If you are interested in shares/stocks/derivatives, managed funds and structures especially SMSF, I recommend joining. You can subscribe (free, once you've joined the AIA) to the various newsletters relating to the various streams I have indicated.
I'm new to this forum and not sure how seasoned you are by way of property, I haven't learnt anything on that front that I didn't already know to date. I seek my property related nourishment from books, other seminars, DVD home study and "feet on the streets" and of late this forum. Good networking though at the annual conference (Marriott Resort Surfers). They are based on the Gold Coast and by my recollection most of their work shops are usually in QLD. Might suit you as you are from Brisbane.
