Bank has lost our title

We were to settle on the sale of a property this Friday, 17 April, unfortunately on Tuesday we were advised that SGB has lost the title. Anyone been down this road?
The SGB lawyers currently dealing with paperwork, hope this will get resolved quickly, I am assuming SGB will be paying all penalties.

NAB lost mine once but they found it a few days later. Was a bit shocked by that experience. I wouldnt assume the bank will pay for anything tho, after all what will you do - hold your breath until you turn blue??

Unusually common...... especially when banks undergo mersgers etc. I am sure there are warehouses of "missing" titles out there somewhere....

Need to get it reissued.
