Hi Guys
I just removed tiles from rendered walls and cement floor in a small unit bathroom. As it is a tricky time of year i can't find a tiler who wants the job right now. Im kinda desperate as im going away in a week and a bit but dont want to have this incomplete while away. So i am going to attempt to tackle it myself.
1) As the floor has been smashed up with the jack hammer do i use a sand and cement bed or sell levelling compound
1) Do i waterproof over the lumpy uneven up concrete floor before laying new sand cement/ Self levelling compound?
3) Is the paint on waterproofing membrane enough or do i need something more?
4) Do i lay tiles directly onto sand cement or do i let it go off and use tile glue then grout?
5) Floor first, then walls right?
