Blackwater,Marian, Burdell, Emerald???

HI all,

This is my firstpost so please be gentle!! :O)

I was wondering if i can please have peoples open thoughts on purchasing a IP in Blackwater QLD and other places such as Marian, Burdell in Qld?

Has anyone own any properties in these areas? Would love to know more information.

IMO,Marian is sound. Look up all the links to posts about Mackay. Marian is a kind of a suburb, even though it has its own name. Just like Walkerston.
Miners love Marian, and it has been consistantly one of the fastest growing areas in the region.It is on the direct route to Moranbah, about 20-30 minutes out of Mackay. It is quite rural, and family friendly. We here regard Marian as our own.
