bought a subdivided property and taking ages for the gov to release a new tile normal

Hi all as stated on the topic my gf singed a contract for a property which just had the land subdivided and the vendor is constructing a new dwelling on the new lot.

But it has been almost 2 months since she signed the contract and settlement is still no where as she was told by the solicitor that both sides are waiting for the gov to issue a new title for her property, the question is it taking too long??? anyone with prior experince in this kind of situation?

Been waiting slightly over 2 months for a new title myself. Apparently they are taking 8-10 weeks at the moment - and that's just from when you lodge the form at the titles office.

And its been 18 months since we started the subdivision. Can't rush these things ...
