Brisbane Buyers agent

Hi Aquaman

Depends on the level of services you use, but yes J_aco is right typically there is a retainer plus success fee on settlement.

You can agree on a flat fee with the BA but a rough est. would be between 1.7% - 2.75% of property purchase price i.e. a 300k property won't cost the same as a 1.2m

It is all up to you to negotiate the best rate.

cheers

Nope. Very different people. The Brisbane Buyer's Agent is a very intelligent guy who is very considered and has sensible cars. The myUSA go was European sportscar driving showoff.

Oh, Great, thank you. We don't like European sportscar driving showoffs!
AA gets good reviews here.

David is right- fees will vary depending on complexity of brief, service being sought and a host of other factors. The REBAA site also has info on fees here

As with anything in life, obviously don't solely choose on fees alone, however, as reputation, experience, suitability and quality of service make a huge difference in this industry. Best of luck.

Out of these agencies listed on the REBAA,

  • VFM Property Advisors
  • NQ Buyers Agent
  • Property Searchers
  • Propertyology
  • Property Zest
  • Allen Real Estate
  • National Property Buyers ? QLD
  • Property Chase
  • Property Pursuit

Can anyone recommend any particular agents that specialise in the low end of market, in S.E corridor of Brisbane And any others specifically for Gold Coast properties?

Currently I am seeking to engage 1 agent, however having very little luck trying to get started,it has been some time and most times I call, I receive a message bank which give me little peace of mind If I were to engage them to manage my property/ sales process, the high fee's quoted havnt reflected the level of service yet.

Thank in advance for your response

What is your definition of low end of market? what purchase price range are you considering?

Hi Nicholas

Curious as to why you've left some QLD BAs off this list however assuming you must have already spoken to them already. Re: communication. As this business is predominantly on the road/meeting with clients I would suggest you contact the BA directly via their mobile as you will have better luck reaching them.

I know all of the above BAs (and more) and can tell you that for the GC VFM would be your best bet. They are locally based there, have a great reputation and know their patch very well. Check out their site or call Tony or Eva directly.

As for Brissy, most of the other REBAA BAs (with the exception of NQ as they are Cairns/Townsville) are well-equipped to help, though you will need to contact to ensure they cover your suburbs of interest. Best of luck with it all!

I'm considering using a BA in brissy. Andrew Allen's number on his web site goes to message bank. I've left a message and emailed but no response.

He seems to have a good reputation so probably booked out. Any other companies worth trying?

Property Zest

Currently using Property Zest for a purchase in Brisbane and must say I have found Karen's service thus far to be first class.

Service is very detailed with property inspections, photos,RP Data info, rental appraisal, notes etc uploaded to a Drop Box account for easy viewing etc..

That's great to hear as Karen is also a fellow REBAA member. Her enthusiasm, efficiency and service has all been positive from what I've heard too :)

Karen has some good feedback from my sources as well, I've referred to her in the past which is saying something as we are competition and regularly meeting at open for inspections looking at the same properties on a Saturday :)
