Building inspection post build - too late?

Hi guys,

Completed my first build and i was silly to have not employed a building inspector from the beginning - the costly things you learn!

The builders were a bit dodgy and if they cut corners on the things i can see, i'm worried about the things i can't see!

Is it too late to hire a building inspector or is it too late now....

Many thanks in advance.

Do you have a maintenance inspection at 3 or 6 months? Most builders do this, so you can make a nice long list for them to fix.

On your first couple of projects you will learn a lot - (from the consultants that you should have engaged).

Having a QS/Contracts administrator to handle variations and a building inspector to look at build quality issues is a few $ well spent.
