G'day!

I met with a buyers agent yesterday (professionally and personally) and must say that we were very impressed with the level of honesty that he displayed. We received quite a few good tips that I'm sure that we will be able to use over the years.

If you are new to buying IP's I would suggest a meeting with someone like this would teach you a lot and open doors for you.

Hi Serge!

I guess to most of the people on this forum, the tips are just common sense ideas when buying property, but here you go:

Houses not units
Minimum of 700square metres land
Buy on the north side of the road
If there is a hill, buy on the north side of the hill
Brick Veneer
Separate toilet to bathroom
Reasonable kitchen
Good sized living area
Car accommodation
Close to transport
Quiet Street

The fellow's attitude was quite refreshing and well worth listening to.
