Buying in Qld

From: Jacque Parker

Hi all! I am about to embark into unknown territory.... Brisbane. (well that's not true as I actually lived there for four years not so long ago but wasn't into property investing the way I am now..)

Anyway, because I am only familiar with NSW contracts, I am unaware of how everything works up there. Someone has told me that contracts are handled differently up there. Any differences in cooling off periods etc? I do know that all offers must be written, but that's about it. Is there a specific QLD site that can help me out? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks... Jacque :)

Steven,

Have a look at:
http://www.consumer.qld.gov.au/forms/pamd/
you can download all the forms applicable to QLD RE, and have a thorough read and familiarisation prior to meeting them in the agents office!

Good luck!

There are no problems, only solutions which have not yet been discovered.

Thanks Asy! I've downloaded and printed them. They are great- nice and easy to understand (which you can't say for a lot of forms these days) Cheers, Jacque :)
