Can I remove the back door ?

Trying to design a new kitchen in a small space in the units,

The kitchen also has a back door to a narrow concrete path behind the unit.

Can I just wall over and remove the door and only have a front door ?

If I could this would make a massive difference to the kitchen refresh

I'm just not sure if I can have one door .. But many units do only have one door and so do hotel rooms ? So I'm thinking this could work ?

I'd think this could be a huge risk for your insurance in case of a fire. Call your insurer and ask them if they will cover you if you close up the back door.

Pretty sure this might affect your resale value (in a bad way).
Is the washing line out back?
Don't think I'd like to carry crap out the front door and through some side gate into the back.
