Casuarina Northern nsw

Hey somersofters!!

Just wondering peoples thoughts on future CG prospects in Casuarina Northern Nsw.
Currently own 1/3 of a 3b 2b 1c apartment in one of the recently renovated (4 years ago was the re furb) resorts.

Paid : $370k in 2011

At the moment this property is only 1/3 in my name 2/3 in my brother & parents name. Due to this restricting me furthering own ventures ( banks dont like these set ups ) we are possibly going to put it up for sale, or i will buy out the other 2/3 share.

So my questions are

1. What are peoples thoughts on future GC prospects for the area

2. What are peoples experiences with holiday letting opposed to standard 6month leases?

Thanks jamie for the info, are you familiar with the area?

There has been a lot of new complexes, shopping centres, coffee shops in the area, lots of supply with not much demand i understand that this puts downward pressure on rents & property values.
