Change Property Manager

Hi Guys,

quick question i have an average unit in western syd asking for average rent & the agent has had it advertised since the 17/10 and still no tenant..

i placed an ad myself on a classified site & had people say that they had inquired through RE.com & domain & the agents phone direct only to have no answer..

obviously i have signed a rental agreement..

how do i go about ditching this guy & hand it to someone that can get me a tennant.. HELP

If the place is vacant (or not), just give the agent notice to terminate the management agreement. It will probably have a 30 day notice period.

Some agents will, if property is vacant, let you out of the agreement. Seeing as there is no money in your trust account with the agency it will be an effort for them to chase you for the 30 to 90 days worth of management fees they will have missed.
