Been thinking about this for a while and now i'm finally getting myself to china for the China trade import/export fair (cantonfair.org.cn) in April.
I'm fairly new to this scene, don't really have any background on importing. The way I see it is that I should be able to network a fair bit and pick up lots of information on the way. Even if i don't come back with a product, I'll have a much better understanding of the importing game for future use.
I know there's a few importers on this forum.. any general advice?
I'm quite interested in one thing coming out of china recently.. that is their 3D printing technology which can build houses using recycled industrial waste and concrete.
I've got a few other ideas, some to do with building products / fit-outs and other ideas from my tradie mates to do with tooling. They claim there is over 22,000 stalls over 3 weeks, so i guess i'm bound to cover a fair few products.
