"Coal Mining is not important to Australia at all" ?

Coal exports are Australia?s second-largest source of export income, after iron ore exports.

Coal in Australia is mined primarily in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. It is used to generate electricity and 54% of the coal mined in Australia is exported, mostly to eastern Asia.

Coal provides about 85% of Australia's electricity production.

I agree 100% with the stopping of all coal mining.

Let's crank up our mining, processing and export of U236 as it is virtually non-polluting, much more energy dense and of higher value to the economy.
