Certainly is a great tool, thanks Freedom.

I've heard that the figures are based on their own valuations though, as opposed to actual sale prices. Does anyone know if this is true?

Sounds true, from the web site;

"Source: Commonwealth Bank of Australia Loan Application Data. No responsibility is accepted for the accuracy or completeness of this data."

Still, it's a useful guide for larger metropolitan areas where CBA will have a good volume of loans. Smaller post code samples will be unreliable.
