Commercial growth vs Residential growth

Understandably commercials can pose some risks and can devalue over time if in a bad location, but if the commercial is in a good position then how do they compare to residentials over a 10 year period?

Not having any experience with this, but it would seem to me that Commercial Growth would be even more susceptible to Supply and demand, you would need to really check what future developments may impact on your investments
