I sent a registered post letter to CBA comminsure asking if my I.P is insured if the current fixed term lease expires and reverts to a continuation lease.
They obviously did not reply at all and I called them to clarify. After explaining it to the telephone girl 3 times I asked her to put me on hold and ask the underwriter.
She later told me that my I.P would still be insured if the lease expired. I forgot to specifically ask if the loss of rent (landlord insurance) would be covered and dont know if i should call back. The phone call was recorded and its on record that she spoke to a senior rep who confirmed that my 'I.P would be insured'.
If your with Comminsure and have knowledge in this area can you share your thoughts?
