Knowing, and having lived and worked in a lot of these communities it's interesting to see how people perceive them (their community).

Really interesting and so are the links.

Very interesting, and some of the figures challenge popular assumptions.

For instance on crime, the low socio-economic outer south-eastern areas (eg Dandenong and Frankston) perform much worse than outer western areas such as Melton and Wyndham.
