Purchased a property at auction today.
Conditions were arranged during the week.
1. 90 day settlement. That was strait forward.
2. Access to renovate prior to settlement. Vendor did not want to agree due to furniture still in house
We arranged to pay for storage of furniture for 30 days. Vendor agreed.
While signing the papers we overheard that a garage sale of the contents will be held next Saturday.
We have decided to attend near the end and buy anything left if that is going to be cheaper than paying for storage.
The only downside was bidding against an emotional first homebuyer, which took us wright to our limit.
