Gotta be a joke. In any case, are any memory sticks made in Australia at all? I wonder if you can even find memory sticks that are made domestically?

USB sticks bough in a reputable vendor in Australia will have no issues.

HOWEVER, if you decide to pick up stuff overseas, be very careful!

I have had people buy allegedly "5GB" sticks in asian markets. They are quite clever in that the directory info has been tampered to show 5GB when you plug them in. However, when you get to actually copying stuff onto them, they stop full at about the 1GB mark.... :(
