All,
I am looking at buying a house (which has a pool) and have the contract reviewed by my solicitor. One comment he made is that there is no proof of council approval for the pool in the contract and attached documentation. My father in law is also getting into me to check there is council approval for a retaining wall in the backyard.
Is this just being pedantic or are these normally things that should be checked?
Regards,
Jason
