Cranebrook v Cronulla

Hi all

Cranebrook or Cronulla? :confused: Silly question, I think not! I've weighed up the pro's & con's so much that it's given me a headache...lol.

My borrowing power $319k with 10% deposit.

What would you buy:

* a house on roughly 500msq block in Cranebrook, Western Sydney with little to no reno required, under the median value with a small predicted 4%-5% growth p.a. and average rent return, or

* a 1-2 bedder unit in Cronulla, older style red brick & many with reno required, not far from the main strip and beach with a predicted 2% growth p.a. also under the median with avg median value

It seems like such an easy decision near beach as opposed to out in woop woop of western sydney, plus the whole social class difference.
